Seasonal rentals of one to three months — for people wintering here or testing the island before a purchase.
Pool villas, apartments in serviced complexes, family houses near schools. We have seen every property, and know some of the owners personally.
What to check in the contract
Who pays for electricity and at which tariff — on the island the gap between the owner’s tariff and the commercial one can be twofold, and with air conditioning running that is real money.
What maintenance covers: cleaning, pool, garden, internet. In a villa, pool and grounds upkeep is a visible cost and its allocation must be in writing.
